Tribute event for Thea Jarvis

The KWF hosted a tribute event for Thea Jarvis – founder of the TLC Home for Abandoned Babies – and one of the first families to adopt black children close to 30 years ago.  She has adopted 19 of her own children over the years and her organization has facilitated the adoption of almost 1000 children locally and internationally! The foundation has been involved with TLC and has made contributions to their projects.  Thea is an inspiration and deserves our thanks as she takes well deserved retirement.
